Health Forum
The Health Forum provides an opportunity for informal scrutiny
of health issues in the Borough. It comments upon
consultation proposals on health matters affecting Broxbourne
residents and users of health services in the Borough. It
also raises issues of concern relating to health matters with the
appropriate responsible bodies.
The terms of reference of the forum were
revised in 2010. Representation on the forum now comprises:
1. Residents of the Borough or users of
health services in the area having
relevant expertise,
e.g. ex PCT non execs., PPI forum members.
2. Non-executive members of NHS
organisations who are resident in the area
3. Broxbourne Borough Councillors
4. Hertfordshire County
Councillors
5. A representative of the voluntary
sector health network
6. NHS public health lead for the
area
7. Practice Based Commissioning Groups
(PBCs)
8. Hospital Trusts (East and North
Herts, Barnet and Chase Farm, Princess
Alexandra)
9. Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation
NHS Trust

Members of the public are welcome to attend the health
forum. Participation will be limited to a 15 minute question
and answer session at the end of each meeting. Attendees are asked
to contribute constructively to the discussion at meetings and to
be mindful that the forum is not an outlet for lobbying particular
causes and/or organisations. In addition, members of the public can
offer suggestions for topics they would like discussed at future
