Affordable housing development

What is affordable housing?

Affordable housing includes social rented homes owned by housing associations and intermediate housing such as 'Rent to Homebuy' and 'Shared Ownership'. Affordable homes are provided at sub-market prices, and usually restricted to specified types of household. 

 

Who qualifies for affordable housing?

Affordable Housing is let to people on the Council's housing register and transfer lists. Priority is given to people living or working in the Borough.

What new affordable housing is being built in Broxbourne?
