The results of the 2017 Broxbourne in Bloom competition were as follows:

Best Allotment: Mr Prior, Plot 75 Dark Lane 
This very attractive and creative plot demonstrates a very high standard in all areas, in particular its abundance of outstanding fruit bushes and appeal to wildlife
Most Environmentally Friendly Allotment: Mr Dorrington, Plot 807 Trinity North
This beautifully kept allotment provides an excellent attraction and habitat for an assortment of wildlife.  In addition, it has a mini fruit orchard and a good selection of crops, all clearly labelled.
Best New Allotment: Miss Kubiliene, Plot 6 Holdbrook
The plot was taken up in April 2017 and in just two months has, in the words of the Mayor, Councillor Crump, “gone from wilderness to wonderland”
Most Improved Allotment: Mr Pointon, Plot 23 Doverfield
The plot has shown considerable improvement since being taken on in June 2016 and is now flourishing with a good selection of crops.
Runner-up to Best Allotment: Mr Nairn, Plot 20A Stanstead Road
A neat and well laid out plot with a good variety of vegetables and fruit.
