The Friends of Cedars Park is a group of regular park users who act as eyes and ears for the park manager, as well as providing support for community events. It is free to join and requires no obligation. Friends receive regular updates on park activity in a newsletter, and can attend the bi-annual meetings.
To join, please contact the Friends of Cedars Park.
The popular Friends of Cedars Park (FOCP) Junior Ranger Club offers children and young people aged five to 13 years the opportunity to explore the great outdoors.
There are a large number of activities available, including bug hunts, bows and arrows, natural art, creating insect and animal habitats and family volunteering opportunities. The popular club runs every last Saturday of the month from April until the end of October. From 11am to 12.30pm.
Children taking part in the club should be accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear must be worn as activities may get messy. All leaders of this scheme are DBS checked and have taken part in First Aid training.
There are only a limited number of places available. To sign up now or for more information, please email the Friends of Cedars Park.
