Lee Valley Park

The Lee Valley Park runs the entire length of the Borough and
offers a wide range of outdoor facilities including walking,
cycling, sailing and cruising. The park's lakes provide a home to
many species of birds and the area has been designated a Site of
Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
The quiet waterways of the Lee and Stort were once filled with
barges carrying cargoes such as grain, malt and timber to and from
London. Today, lined with meadows, woods and pretty villages the
river provides access to beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Lee
Valley Boat Centre provides river cruises and boat hire.
