Expert tuition is available throughout the year for all ages and
abilities and is organised and given by the resident course
professional Craig Donaldson (PGA).
Craig Donaldon - biography
Craig started to play golf aged 10 at Hartlepool Golf Club and
was taught by the same coach that taught Graeme Storm (European
Tour Player). Craig played county golf with Graeme and at the
age of 15 Craig was playing off of a scratch handicap. He
turned professional aged just 21 having realised that he wanted to
pursue a career in teaching and not playing. During the last
15 years Craig has taught many golfers who have gone on to play
off plus handicaps and two juniors who have reached the
English National Squad.
Adult lessons
One to one lessons
One to one adult lessons are available using
the Explanar teaching system at a cost of £20 for half an hour and
£36 for an hour.
Regular weekly lessons
Group lessons are available on a weekly basis
for all ages and abilities:
Ladies only session
Date: Tuesdays at 10am or
Thursdays at 6:30pm
Cost: £5 per
session
Men only session
Date: Tuesdays at 11am or
Wednesdays at 6:30pm
Cost: £5 per
session
Junior lessons
One to one lessons
One to one junior lessons are available using
the Explanar teaching system at a cost of £12.50 for half an hour
and £25 for an hour. Development notes are provided at the
end of each lesson.
School holiday lessons
Junior holiday group lessons are also

Quality Accedited Golf Lessons
Junior GolfMark
Cheshunt Park Golf Centre and The Broxbourne Golf Club have been
awarded the Junior GolfMark award by the English Golf Union and the
English Ladies Golf Association.
This accreditation shows that the centre has met national
standards with regard to:
- Coaching and playing
- Club environment
- Child protection and duty of care.
The award demonstrates the club’s belief in the value of golf as
a positive and beneficial experience for young people.
