RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Professional
Qualification
Participants undertake two units to complete this
qualification.
Unit 1 -Principles of lifesaving and swimming pool
supervision
Unit 2 -Application of supervision and swimming pool
rescue
Participants must be at least 16 years, able to swim four
lengths continuously, surface dive to the bottom of the pool and
tread water for 30 seconds.

First Aid at work
Under the Health and Safety First Aid at Work Regulations every
organisation must provide an adequate and appropriate number of
staff who are suitably trained in first aid at work. These are four
full day courses.
