ASA Teaching Aquatics Course

All ASA courses are taken by fully qualified tutors and all
assessments are carried out by independent assessors. Minimum
numbers apply. Prices include certificates and all

ASA UKCC Teaching Aquatics Level 1
(QCF)
This course covers teaching Aquatics units 1-7. It is the
first step to becoming a fully qualified aquatics teacher.

ASA UKCC Teaching Aquatics Level 2
(QCF)
This course covers
teaching Aquatics, units 1-8. Please note: candidates
must already have ASA Level 1 before booking. This course
covers eight units which all need to be completed in order to
be fully qualified. Once you have achieved the ASA Teaching
Aquatics Level 2 course you become a fully qualified
aquatics teacher.

First Aid at Work Course
Under the Health and Safety First Aid at Work regulations, every
organisation must provide adequate first aid training and
have an appropriate number of staff who are suitably trained in
first aid. Successful completion of this three day course provides
a First Aid at Work qualification which lasts for three
years.

RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Professional
Qualification
Participants undertake two units to complete this
qualification:
- Unit 1 - principles of lifesaving and swimming pool
supervision
- Unit 2 - application of supervision and swimming pool
rescue
Participants must be at least 16 years old and be able to meet
the following basic fitness criteria:
- Jump/dive into deep water
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on your front and back in deep
water
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool
- Climb out of the pool unaided without ladders/steps and where
the pool design permits.
