Weddings at Bishops' College

Bishops' College provides the ideal marriage venue, with three licensed premises available. The parkland setting, with the New River running through, offers an attractive backdrop for memorable wedding photographs to record the special day.

The Octagonal Room

This room allows couples a wide range of options to plan their wedding and personalise their arrangements in terms of time, day, cost and the type of ceremony they would like to complete their perfect day.

There is seating for 57, with room for about another 10 standing. Situated on the site of the theological college, which was founded by the Dowager Countess of Huntingdon in the eighteenth century, the Octagonal Room will provide a superb setting for your wedding.

Dark wood furniture, a splendid vaulted wooden ceiling, pale green carpeting, complemented by fresh flowers, with natural light streaming through the many windows, contribute to the ideal atmosphere for the day of your marriage.

The Beaufort Suite

A handsome listed building next door to the Octagonal Room; the Beaufort Suite is licensed for 100 guests. This allows for the convenience of the same venue for both ceremony and reception. The Spanish Ambassador's Suite will be made available to hirers after the ceremony while the furniture is rearranged for the reception.

In the same courtyard is this stylish room which offers an attractive option for the smaller wedding, and is licensed for 50 guests.
