Christmas Fayre

The Annual Christmas Fayre took place on Sunday 23 November
2008 with 70 stalls and over 850 visitors, the 2008 fayre was
the busiest ever!
A wide variety of goods was on offer from
independent traders, charities, and craftspeople. Homemade
gingerbread houses and Christmas cakes, organic handmade chocolates
and crepes were available to whet the appetite, and gift choices
included jute bags, wooden mobiles, beaded ornaments, original art,
hand knits, and fairies. Father Christmas was kept busy on stage
with a steady stream of young visitors and the free draw to win
pantomime tickets was won by Christopher Coates of Hertford. The
atmosphere was very festive with the halls fully decorated for
Christmas, seasonal music, and mulled wine. There was even
a dusting of real snow outside!
Next year’s Christmas Fayre will be held on
Sunday 15 November 2009. If you are interested in
having a stall, please call Broxbourne Civic Hall on 01992
