'Let's Go Play' this summer
‘Let’s Go
Play’ events continue over the summer holidays with three events
planned at three parks in the Borough of Broxbourne, allowing
children from across the Borough to get involved.
These free events are aimed at children aged
between three and 12 years old and concentrate on back to basics
play giving children the opportunity to use their imagination and
maybe get a bit dirty.
The first, on Sunday 10 August is at Cedars
Park, Cheshunt from 10am until 4pm. Scheduled activities
include, den building, pond dipping, feet and hand mud printing,
natural drama and natural hat and mask making!
The second is on Friday 15 August at Barclay
Park, Hoddesdon from 11am until 3pm. Activities planned are
giant Jenga, giant snakes and ladders, natural drama, face
painting, loose parts play, pond dipping and feet and hand mud
printing.
The final school holiday event is on Sunday 24
August at Cheshunt Park from 11am until 4pm. Activities
include den building, feet and hand mud printing, loose parts play,
natural drama, natural hat and mask making and face painting.
Residents do not need to book and adults are
required to accompany children at these events.
