The awardees were presented with a certificate by the Mayor of Broxbourne, Councillor Eddy Rowland.

Over recent months, Broxbourne Council has invited the public to nominate inspiring residents who have made a significant contribution to the life of the Borough. A further nine awards were presented at meetings in February and April.

All recipients will receive tickets to the canoe slalom events at the upcoming London 2012 Games which are being held at the Borough’s Lee Valley White Water Centre.
