Celebrating our Community

Bollywood dancers, cedars park

 

A free festival celebrating the diverse communities who live and work within the Borough of Broxbourne takes place on Sunday 12 September between 12noon and 5pm in Cedars Park, Cheshunt. 

 

A colourful day full of dance, song, music, international food and acting will be provided by various groups and clubs from around the Borough. Performers include the Shaolin Monks who performed on ITV television show, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.  The full programme is listed below:

This is the third Celebrating our Community festival.  Previous events have attracted over 2,000 attendees.

 

There will be lots of activities for the little ones, including; a bouncy castle, face painting, and mini go karts.  Entry to the festival is free of charge although some activities will be chargeable. 

 

The event is kindly sponsored by Broxbourne Housing Association, Enfield Homes, Paradigm, Aldwyck Housing Group, Hertfordshire County Council, the Volunteer Centre, Broxbourne Ethnic Minority Association, CVS Broxbourne and East Herts, and the Borough of Broxbourne.
