Council publishes Cheshunt community newsletter
Residents living in Cheshunt are receiving a copy of a
newsletter published by the Council to inform households of
projects taking place in their area.
The Council believes these projects will improve the local
environment and the range of social facilities available. The
purpose of the newsletter is to improve the flow of information to
residents in the area, especially about issues of community safety
in its widest sense. The leaflet follows those published for
Waltham Cross, Hoddesdon, Rye Park and Goffs Oak over the last
year. The next in the series will be circulated in the
Wormley/Tunford area in the autumn.
The projects completed and currently underway in Cheshunt
include:
- An urgent care centre at Cheshunt Community Hospital
- Play Rangers at Grundy Park Leisure Centre
- Proposed parking provision improvements
- Development of local neighbourhood recycling centres
There is also information on the local neighbourhood forum and a
list of useful contact telephone numbers.
Further copies of the newsletter are available from the Wolsey
Hall one stop shop or by contacting the Council on 01992
785592.
