Council housing needs survey

Broxbourne Council is trying to find out what local people know and think about how affordable housing is allocated to people within the Borough.

Following a questionnaire on the subject handed out at the Broxbourne Community Open Day in July, the Council has now launched an online survey, and is keen that as many Broxbourne residents as possible complete it. It can be accessed from the consultation pages on the Council website, www.broxbourne.gov.uk. The survey can also be accessed via the home page of Broxbourne Housing Association, www.broxbourneha.org.uk.

The Council now plans to run a series of focus groups for residents of the Borough in September and October to gather further opinions. Further details on how to get involved will be made available at www.broxbourne.gov.uk/housing at the beginning of September.

The research is being undertaken as part of work to show people in the Borough how the housing allocation system works, and that it is both fair and flexible.
