Day trips for younger people

Broxbourne Council has arranged a number of day trips for younger people aged 12 years and over this summer.

On Wednesday 6 August there is a coach trip to Thorpe Park.  The cost is £30 which includes entry to the theme park and the coach trip.  This trip is suitable for children over the age of 12.

On Wednesday 13 August animal lovers can join the coach trip to Colchester Zoo.  The Zoo houses some of the best big cat and primate collections in Europe.  This trip is suitable for children over the age of 12.  The cost is £22.00 which includes entry and coach trip.

Closer to home, on Wednesday 27 August a paintballing afternoon has been organised at ‘Go Ballistic Paintball’, Pembridge Lane, Broxbourne.  This event is for 13 – 17 year olds and each young person will get three hours of play and 300 paintballs to use.   The session starts at 1pm and finishes at 4pm. The cost is £22.00 per person.  Attendees are advised to arrive 20 minutes early for a briefing session.
