Environmental Panel Meeting

The Council’s next Environmental Panel will meet on
Tuesday 17 June 2008 at 7pm in the Beaufort Suite, Bishops' College
in Cheshunt.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a
forum for residents to consider and comment on a range of
environmental issues including recycling and waste
management. Invitations have been sent to local residents who
have expressed an interest in these issues, and environmental
services staff will be in attendance to answer questions.
The Panel will be updated on the key trends
from the Council’s annual Environmental Monitor. It will also
seek comments on increasing public engagement with the
adopt-a-street campaign. There will be an update on progress
with the roll out of the purple and clear sack scheme across
the Borough and attendees will have the opportunity to let the
Council know about any environmental concerns in their locality
which require the Council’s attention.

previous meeting. A further meeting of the Panel is scheduled
to be held 18 November 2008.
