Funday at Grundy Park Leisure

crowds enjoy funday at Grundy ParkBroxbourne Council held a free Funday on Saturday 14 June outside Grundy Park Leisure Centre, approximately two thousand people came to join in the fun.

 

Free activities included two bouncy castles, a giraffe slide, trampolining, facepainting and arts and crafts, there were also chair swings and teacups rides and the Amifou Warriors performed a martial arts demonstration.

 

Free swimming sessions were available inside the centre and 15 people took advantage of the Fit&Well special offer which meant that by taking out a Membership on the day they did not have to pay the joining fee which is normally £50 or £30 for concessions.  For more details on Fit&Well memberships please pick up your free sports and leisure guide from the centre, Council one stop shops or call Grundy Park Fit&Well team on 01992 622071.

 

Refreshments were available from the new Strikers in the Park Servery which is on the side of the leisure centre, tables and benches have been erected next to the park to provide customers with a comfortable place to eat al fresco.
