Goffs Oak newsletter
Residents living in Goffs Oak are receiving a copy of a
newsletter published by the Council to inform households in the
area of projects taking place there which the Council believes will
improve the local environment and the range of social facilities
available. The purpose of the newsletter is to improve the
flow of information to residents in the area, especially about
issues of community safety in its widest sense. The leaflet
follows those published for Waltham Cross and Hoddesdon last
year. The next in the series will be circulated in the Rye
Park area in the summer.
The projects completed and currently underway in Goffs Oak
include:
- The results of the purple sack pilot in Goffs Oak
- Goffs Oak village improvements
- The new Goffs Oak surgery car park
- Facilities for young people
There is also information on the local neighbourhood forum and a
list of useful contact telephone numbers.
Further copies of the newsletter are available from the Wolsey
Hall one stop shop or by contacting the Council on 01992
785592. The newsletter is also available on the
Council’s website in the Community Planning
section.
