Public toilets to stay open
After a period of public consultation a
decision has been made to keep the Deaconsfield public convenience
open.
The Council undertook a consultation on the
possible closure of Deaconsfield public convenience. A
questionnaire was circulated.
The Council received a total of 145 responses
from members of the public, 83 per cent of whom wanted Deaconsfield
public convenience to remain open. The results were presented to
the Environmental Services Committee on Tuesday 10 June.
There are seven public conveniences within the
Borough of Broxbourne: at Old Highway, Tower Centre and Barclay
Park in Hoddesdon, at Deaconsfield open space in Broxbourne,
Turners Hill and Cedars Park in Cheshunt, and off the High Street
in Waltham Cross.
