Safer Community Monitor shows crime levels continue to fall
The Broxbourne Safer Community Partnership has
published the latest edition of its quarterly Safer Community
Monitor, which reports on the progress made in improving community
safety in the Borough.
The latest monitor confirms that levels of
anti-social behaviour continued to fall during the last quarter.
Incidents reported to the police fell by 21 per cent in the first
quarter of this year. Anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in
the Borough’s town centres also fell.
The monitor provides details of the 2012/13
Community Safety Action Plan, as well as information on
environmental and safety improvements made within the
Borough. Residents can find out about the elections being
held in November for a new Police and Crime Commissioner for
Hertfordshire.
There is also information on volunteering
opportunities, and a full list of community safety events and
meetings over the coming months.
The latest edition of the Safer Community
Monitor can now be
viewed online or printed copies are available at the Hoddesdon,
Cheshunt and Waltham Cross one stop shops.
