Safer Community Monitor shows the Borough is getting even safer
The Broxbourne Community Safety Partnership
has published the latest edition of its quarterly Safer Community
Monitor, which reports on the progress made in improving community
safety in the Borough.
The latest monitor confirms that levels of
anti-social behaviour fell significantly over the last 12 months,
down 15.4 per cent on the levels recorded in 2010/11. Criminal
damage and fly-tipping have also continued to fall in the Borough
over the last year.
The monitor also gives details of the 2012/13
Community Safety Action Plan, as well as information on new
late-night enforcement patrols to combat littering in Hoddesdon and
Cheshunt. Residents can also find out about the elections being
held in November for a new Police and Crime Commissioner for
Hertfordshire.
There is also information on volunteering
opportunities, details of improvement works carried out around the
Borough as part of the neighbourhood project scheme and a full list
of community safety events and meetings over the coming months.
The latest edition of the
Safer Community Monitor can be viewed online and printed
copies are available at the Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Waltham Cross
one stop shops.
