Supernova event wins Inspire Mark
Broxbourne
Council’s Supernova event has been granted the Inspire Mark by the
London 2012 Inspire Programme. The Programme recognises
innovative and exceptional projects that are directly inspired by
the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Supernova offers a programme of sports and arts events to
children and young people with special needs, and their siblings.
It will take place at The John Warner Leisure Centre, Hoddesdon on
Sunday 13 May 2012 from 1pm to 5pm.
Sebastian Coe, Chair of the London Organising Committee of the
Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) said “The Supernova
event is encouraging young people with special needs to fulfil
their potential. I am proud that with the help of parties such as
Broxbourne Council, we are delivering our vision to use the power
of the Olympic Games & Paralympic Games to boost participation
in sport & art activities”.
