Waltham Cross Summer Fair
On Saturday 7June, a
Summer Fair was held in Waltham Cross town centre. A number
of attractions were in the town centre throughout the day, which is
supported by local community groups and organisations.
A range of traditional craft stalls attended the fair, including
handmade cards, needlework, jewellery, Fairtrade items and
bric-a-brac. There were also a number of market stalls and a
fairground ride was provided for children.
The entertainment included dance and theatre groups; Mayhem
Theatre Arts, Valle Academy of Performing Arts.
Two other events will take place in the Borough’s town centres
this summer. On Saturday 12 July, the Vintage and Classic
Vehicle Display will be held in Hoddesdon Town Centre from 10am to
4pm, and a Classic Car Day will be held in Waltham Cross Town
Centre on Saturday 16 August from 10am to 3pm.
The Council launches a new Sunday Market in Waltham Cross on
Sunday 22 June.
