Works to leisure facilities
Broxbourne Council has updated three of its
leisure facilities in time for the summer months. The café at
Cedars Park has been redecorated, the air conditioning at Wolsey
Hall has been updated and lighting in the car park at The John
Warner Sports Centre has also been improved.
At Cedars Park the Council has redecorated the
external elevation of the tea room facing the park, including the
handrails. New glazed entrance doors have also been fitted.
The internal redecoration of the café area includes the
ceilings, walls, windows, doors, frames and dado rails. In addition
all the defective tile work has been replaced and the old tiled
counter has been updated with a purpose made stainless steel
unit.
At Wolsey Hall, two ‘Toshiba’ inverter heat
pump, air conditioning units have been installed. These inverter
units have lower power consumption, cheaper running costs and
improved temperature control; providing heating for the winter
months and cooling for the summer months. The old units have been
disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
At The John Warner Sports Centre the car park
lighting has been upgraded to improve the security for its
users.
