Changes to housing benefit payment dates in December
There will be an alteration made to the payment date of housing
benefits and rent over the festive period that will affect
claimants and landlords.
Benefit payments that are due to be sent to claimants on Monday
26 December 2011 will be sent out on Thursday 22 December 2011
instead.
Scheduled rent payments for Landlords under the Simple Lets
scheme will also be sent on Thursday 22 December, four days earlier
than usual. As always, residents are reminded to let the Council
know of any changes to their circumstances.
