Linux - FireFox
The following instructions apply to version 1
of Mozilla Firefox on Linux.
Change Text Size
To change the size of the text for this browsing session:
- Select the View menu from the browser
toolbar.
- Select the Text size option.
- From the menu select whether to Increase or
Decrease the text size.
To change the default text size for all websites:
- On the Tools menu select
Options.
- Under General, select Fonts &
Colors.
- Change the Size (pixels) value to reflect the
size at which you want fonts to appear.
- Tick the Always use my fonts box to ensure
that your selection overides web site settings.
- Click OK to confirm your changes.
Change Text Color
You may also find it helpful to change the colour scheme, for
example, to a yellow/black combination.
- On the Tools menu select
Options.
- Under General, select Fonts &
Colors.
- Tick the Always use my colors box to ensure
that your selection overides web site settings.
- In the Text and Background section:
- Click the rectangle to the right of Text and
choose a text colour (e.g. yellow).
- Click the rectangle to the right of Background
and choose a background colour (e.g. black).
- Click OK to confirm your changes.
