The following instructions apply to version 5.x of Microsoft Internet Explorer on Apple OS.

 

Change Text Size

To change the size of the text for this browsing session:

  • Select the View menu from the browser toolbar.
  • Use the Text Zoom function.

To change the default text size for all websites:

  • On the Explorer menu select Preferences.
  • Under Web Browser, select Languages/Fonts.
  • On the Size popup menu, select a new size.
  • Click OK to confirm your changes.

 

Change Text Color

You may also find it helpful to change the colour scheme, for example, to a yellow/black combination.

  • On the Explorer menu select Preferences.
  • Under Web Browser, select Web Content.
  • Untick the box next to Allow page to specify colours.
  • Under Web Browser, select Browser Display.
  • Now click the rectangle to the right of Text and choose a text colour (e.g. yellow).
  • Then click the rectangle to the right of Background and choose a background colour (e.g. black).
  • To change the colours of visited and unvisited links click the rectangles to the right of Already viewed and Not yet viewed respectively and choose the new colours.
  • Click OK to confirm your changes.
