Egovernment logoAll council's are given Government-set targets for the electronic delivery of services. The majority of targets were required to be completed by 31 December 2005, with the remainder to be completed by 31 March 2006.

The Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) statement provides details of the targets and shows the progress Broxbourne made towards achieving them.

A key element of the e-government programme is the development of council websites to provide an alternative channel of communication. It is therefore important that a website is available for as much time as possible, ideally all the time.

However, this is not always possible due to unexpected technical problems and unavoidable maintenance. The Council aims to have its website available for more than 95 per cent of the time. The availability of the site is monitored externally on a monthly basis, you can view the past performance for each complete month from October 2005.
