On Sunday 11 December 2011, National Express
East Anglia (NXEA) will introduce a new timetable for the West
Anglia network as part of its Service Improvement Plan. Key
points include:
- 5,500 more seats increasing seating capacity
across the West Anglia network by almost 20%
- Faster journey times from Cambridge, Hertford
East and Edmonton Green to London
- New services starting from Broxbourne for
London and serving intermediate stations to ease congestion
- Two morning ‘peak’ services from Hertford
East to Stratford
- Trains from Hertford East will be routed
through Seven Sisters at peak times from December 2011 and will
revert back to Tottenham Hale during the day.
The draft timetable will be available in
printed form from November 2011 but it is available to view on the
National Express
East Anglia website.
