Constitution Working Party

The Constitution Working Party was appointed by the Council in December 2013 to consider the potential benefits of changing the Council’s electoral cycle. The Council wished to consider changing the electoral cycle from retiring by thirds to ‘all-out’ elections on a four year cycle. The Working Party was also appointed to carry out a periodic review of the Council’s Constitution to consider if any constitutional, procedural or other changes should be recommended to the Council following the revised governance arrangements introduced in May 2011.
