Simple Lets can help you to find a private rented property to:
- prevent or resolve your homelessness
- move into accommodation of your own choice in any area
- get advice on searching for a suitable, affordable property
- get financial support to set up a tenancy and keep it on track, even if you receive benefits
A dedicated officer will be a single point of contact for both you and the landlord throughout the tenancy to resolve any issues that may arise.
To be eligible you must have been referred to the Simple Lets scheme by the Housing Advice Service. Contact the Council for more information.
