Start-up
- Hertfordshire Start-up Programme - offers 12 hours of free business start-up support, including workshops, training classes, access to grants, and one-to-one advice
- Ambition Broxbourne Business Centre - professional office space to rent in Hoddesdon with serviced meeting rooms, accommodation and parking
Grants
- Get Growing project - up to £3,000 (or 50% of the project) available for businesses in Hertfordshire through the Growth Hub
- the Manufacturing Growth Programme (MGP) - up to £3,500 available to SME manufacturers to fund consultants that specialise in growing businesses
- low carbon workspaces grants - between £1,000 and £5,000 available to SMEs to install more energy efficient heating, lighting and equipment
- access to work funding: support for businesses that need to adapt work equipment for disabled workers

- Hertfordshire Federation of Small Business - promotes and protects SME interests
- Better Business For All - helps businesses understand regulations and connects them to specific local authority teams using the Talk to Reg tool
