Women and girls sport and physical activity

Women and girls sport and physical activity

Many women do not take part in sport and exercise because of fear of judgement. The Borough of Broxbourne Council collaborates with the This Girl Can campaign to work towards changing that.

Women-only sessions in leisure centres

There are opportunities within the Council’s leisure centres that allow women to participate in a women-only environment. Please check the fitness timetables at Laura Trott Leisure Centre and John Warner Sports Centre.
