If you have an online Council Tax account, the way you will receive your bills and reminders is changing.
From 21 January 2026, you will need to sign into your online account to view bills and reminders.
Paper copies will no longer be sent through the post.
Electronic billing has many advantages including:
- You can view your bill and update your account from anywhere you have an internet connection
- There is no need to wait in telephone queues or to receive information in the post - it is available instantly online
- You can access your account is any hour of any day
- Managing your account online uses less resources than printing and delivering, and helps to reduce our overall carbon footprint
- By using the online service, you can save the Council money which can be used to improve services
You can opt out of e-billing if you would prefer to receive your information in paper format. Should you wish to do this, you will need to sign into your account and de-select the paperless billing option.
