Cemetery opening times
Council-owned cemeteries
The Council is responsible for the maintenance of two working cemeteries (Cheshunt Cemetery on Bury Green Road, and Hoddesdon Cemetery on Ware Road) and four closed churchyards.
The Borough of Broxbourne's cemeteries are open every day of the year. Times are as follows:

Cemetery office
The cemetery office is open 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday (except bank holidays).

Members of the public are required to make an appointment if they wish to visit the office, as the cemetery staff may not always be available. The Cemeteries Team can be contacted at cemeteries@broxbourne.gov.uk or 01992 785507.
Alternatively, there is a drop in surgery session held at each cemetery chapel where no appointment is necessary; on Tuesday from 9-10.30am in Hoddesdon, and on Thursday from 9-10.30am in Cheshunt.
Non-council cemeteries and crematoriums
There are several cemeteries in the borough which are not owned or managed by the Council, including the Jewish Western Cemetery run by Jewish Joint Burial Society and Adath Yisroel Cemetery. For any information regarding burials in these cemeteries please contact them directly.
