After blowing away the judges on ITV’s new talent show ‘Walk The Line’ it has been announced that Queenz will be coming to Hoddesdon.
The group of five drag queens featured on the first ever episode of Simon Cowell’s new show, wowing the panel of Gary Barlow, Alisha Dixon, Dawn French and Craig David.
Queenz will be touring the UK for the first time in 2022, and heading to The Spotlight theatre on Friday 25 November.
The group currently includes Grant Jackson as Bella DuBall, Louis Walland as Billie Eyelash, Lew Ray as ZeZe Van Cartier, Benjamin Terry as Mis Dia Montay, and Josh Hanson as Candy Caned.
The five divas perform remixed and reimagined classics from pop icons including the Spice Girls, Lady GaGa, Shakira, Little Mix and Beyonce.
Josh Hanson said:
“My Drag journey began in lockdown in January 2021 and little did I know within months I’d be working alongside West End professionals and choreographers that have worked with the likes of Little Mix and the Spice Girls.
“I still have to pinch myself for this beautiful opportunity I have been blessed with. I cannot wait to share our singing and sassiness with the crowds on this tour next year. This really is a dream of mine and to experience this with my sisters is magical.”
