Broxbourne Council Youth win awards at Hertfordshire Young People’s Awards

The ceremony was held on Wednesday 9 November at County Hall in Hertford.

This year’s Hertfordshire Young People’s Awards were held on Wednesday 9 November at County Hall in Hertford, and the Broxbourne Youth Council were nominated for a number of awards.

The awards recognise the achievements and progress that young people have made whilst involved with projects delivered by Hertfordshire County Council’s Services for Young People.

Five members of the Broxbourne Youth Council won individual awards, including Youth Mayor Ethan Yardley, Deputy Youth Mayor Adesola Jinada-Adewale, Keira Moles, Jake Reece and Elliot Paulding.

The Broxbourne Youth Council also won an award as a group for their progress and achievements.

The Broxbourne Youth Council is jointly facilitated by Broxbourne Council and Hertfordshire County Council’s Services for Young People. The Youth Council meets fortnightly and all young people living or studying in the Borough of Broxbourne aged 11-19 are welcome. Young people are encouraged to join the Youth Council and can attend meetings by emailing youth.council@broxbourne.gov.uk.
