Families are invited to take part in a brand-new and free animated trail taking place in Waltham Cross Town Centre from Friday 24 May to Friday 7 June 2025.
The ‘Mindful Monsters on a Mission’ trail is a fun and engaging activity designed to encourage mindfulness, creativity, and outdoor exploration for children and their families. As part of the experience, upon successfully completing the trail, children will receive a free storybook titled ‘Mindful Monsters on a Mission’, helping to bring the trail’s characters and challenges to life.
Councillor Steve Wortley and Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Growth said:
“We are delighted to be offering another exciting and free activity for families in Broxbourne. The Mindful Monsters trail is a great way to awaken a sense of adventure while promoting physical activity and overall wellbeing. We encourage everyone to come out and take part.”
The Mindful Monsters trail, organised by Broxbourne Borough Council in collaboration with trail specialists City Dressing, was secured as a prize, which was won at the Association of Town and City Management conference.
The trail marks the start of a season of family friendly events which will kick-off with another trail in the summer holidays in addition to other free activities from the Summer of Fun programme. The summer events will begin with a special launch on Saturday 5 July, from 12noon–4pm, and will run through to Saturday 30 August.
