Broxbourne Council Produces Summer Fun Brochure

With so many events and activities for children, families and young people taking place within the Borough of Broxbourne this summer, Broxbourne Council has produced a Summer Fun Brochure...

The fun-packed brochure covers the period of June through to September and contains sports activities for young people, town centre events, shows at the Spotlight, health walks, projects to support creative practitioners, exhibitions at Lowewood Museum, holiday playschemes and much more.

Highlights include the Summer of Fun taking place in Waltham Cross Town Centre every Saturday in July and August, the vintage car show in Hoddesdon town centre on Sunday 6 July, the return of Parkplay to the Borough on Saturdays at Grundy Park, the Waltham Cross Sports Festival on Saturday 19 July, National Play Day at Cheshunt Park on Wednesday 6 August,  the new Broxbourne At War exhibition at Lowewood Museum, the popular Kidz Klub holiday playscheme at the John Warner Sports Centre and open air cinema events in Grundy Park and Waltham Cross.

Shows at the Spotlight in Hoddesdon include The Big Yellow Tambourine Man celebrating the music of Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, Totally Tina, the Illegal Eagles, the Jive Aces and ColdPlace, the world’s leading Coldplay tribute.

The back of the brochure contains details of three trails that families can use to explore the Borough’s fascinating history.

Physical copies of the Summer Events Brochure will be available for collection at Council events, local libraries and Lowewood Museum from week commencing 16 June.
