The popular Broxbourne Community Fair will return for its fifth year on Monday 13 October, from 7–9pm, at the Spotlight Theatre in Hoddesdon.
The Fair offers residents the opportunity to meet and learn more about the wide variety of community groups and charities operating in the Borough.
In previous years, the event has welcomed around 30–40 organisations, including Citizens Advice, Hertfordshire Health Walks, Lowewood Museum, the Alzheimer’s Society, CHEXS, the Broxbourne Family Centre, Carers in Herts and many more.
This year, the venue and timing have been adjusted to enable volunteers who work during the day to take part.
The event is free to attend and open to all visitors without the need to register. Visitors will have the chance to explore local services, find support, and discover how they can get involved in volunteering opportunities suited to their skills and interests.
Community groups and charities wishing to register a stall can do so online by visiting
www.communities1st.org.uk/calendar/month and clicking on ‘Broxbourne Community Event (Volunteers Fair)’ listed under the 13 October.
The Broxbourne Community Fair is organised by Broxbourne Borough Council in partnership with the Broxbourne Alliance Primary Care Network and Communities 1st.
