With summer approaching and warmer weather on the way, the Waltham Cross Outdoor Cinema returns to Queen Eleanor Square on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
The free community event promises to entertain visitors of all ages, featuring three films throughout the day. Zootropolis 2 will begin the day at 11am, followed by The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants at 1pm.
The last movie of the day will be the sing-along favourite Wicked: For Good at 3pm. Alongside the big screen, visitors can expect stalls, face-painting, a balloon twister, and a pamper station.
While there will be no food or drinks provided by the event, visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, and snacks to make their space in the square as comfortable as possible.
No bookings are required and visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day, enjoying as many or as few of the films as they like.
The long-standing community favourite will also be returning to Hoddesdon this summer, with dates to be confirmed.
The event is sponsored by Top Marks Cleaning Ltd and Fishy Delishy in Cheshunt, with support from The Pavilions Shopping Centre and Love Waltham Cross.
