Children and young people across Broxbourne have a summer of free sport and activities to look forward to, with a programme of events running throughout July and August open to all abilities.
Lark in the Park returns from Monday 27 July to Friday 21 August, with free activities including water fights, laser tag and sports running from 2-4pm every weekday.
Sessions take place at a different park each day:
- Grundy Park on Mondays: Multi-Sports Play Edition for all ages.
- Barclay Park on Tuesdays: Multi-Sports Play Edition for all ages.
- Cheshunt Park on Wednesdays: Youth Basketball Edition for ages 11 to 16.
- Cedars Park on Thursdays: Multi-Sports Play Edition for all ages.
- Goffs Oak Playing Fields on Fridays: Youth Multi-Sports Edition for ages 11 to 16.
Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No booking is required, but participants will need to sign in at the start of each session.
Also on offer this summer are free Rugby Taster Sessions, Youth Skateboarding Sessions and the Waltham Cross Sports Festival. Full details of all three can be found at www.broxbourne.gov.uk/events.
