Broxbourne Council produces Summer Fun Brochure for 2026

Broxbourne Borough Council has published its 2026 Summer Fun Brochure, highlighting activities for children, young people and families running from 1 July to mid-September.

The brochure is organised in chronological order, giving a clear day-by-day overview of events delivered by the Council and its partners. These include town centre events, youth sports sessions, Hertfordshire Health Walks, activities at local libraries and Lowewood Museum, and shows at the Spotlight.

Highlights include the Summer of Fun in Waltham Cross town centre every Saturday in July and August, car shows in Hoddesdon and Waltham Cross, Model Railway Day at Lowewood Museum, the Waltham Cross Sports Festival, National Playday, Open Air Cinema at Grundy Park, the B3Living Community Day at Wormley Community Centre, Rock Around the Clock Tower in Hoddesdon, and the Little Movers & Big Groovers Family Disco at the Spotlight.

Weekly events for children and young people include a youth skateboarding programme at Cheshunt Park, the Herts Summer Parks festival at Waltham Cross Playing Fields, rugby taster sessions at Cheshunt Rugby Club, the Hertfordshire Libraries' Summer Reading Challenge, Lark in the Park at five locations across the Borough, and Junior Parkrun at Waltham Cross Playing Fields.
