Herts Summer Parks is back for 2026, bringing free activities to Waltham Cross Playing Fields across three Tuesdays in August.
Delivered by Sporting Inspirations CIC in partnership with Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership, Hertfordshire County Council and Broxbourne Borough Council, the programme offers young people aged 12 to 16 a range of free activities including inflatables, climbing, football, archery, gaming, virtual reality, lyrical writing, graffiti art and jewellery making.
Following a successful 2025 programme which saw more than 1,000 young people take part across Hertfordshire, this year's sessions will again be fully staffed by trained youth leaders. Participants will also receive a free food voucher redeemable at both The Breakfast Bar and Greek Street in Waltham Cross.
Sessions take place at Waltham Cross Playing Fields, Station Approach, Waltham Cross EN8 7LU on Tuesday 4, 11 and 18 August 2026.
No booking is required on the day, but young people and their parents or carers can register in advance for fast-track entry at bit.ly/HertsSummerParks2026.
