HAPpy Camps returns to the John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon

HAPpy Camps are back again for the summer holidays, offering fully-funded activities for eligible children and young people across Hertfordshire.

The programme offers a lineup of fun activities for children who receive benefits-related free school meals, where they will get the chance to meet friends, learn new skills and enjoy nutritious meals, free of charge.

Activities include playground games, board games, arts and crafts, sports and educational healthy eating sessions.

All camps are inclusive and designed to meet the needs of most children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), provided that relevant information is supplied at the time of booking.

Families will receive their child’s booking code directly from their school.

The HAPpy Programme is funded by Hertfordshire County Council and the Department for Education (DfE) through the government’s Holiday Activity and Food Programme. Delivery is coordinated by the Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership in collaboration with the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.

Bookings are open now, with sessions running between 27 July and 14 August, excluding 5 August. Session will take place from 9am–1pm.

Bookings can be made via the Herts Sports & Physical Activity Partnership website at https://hertfordshire.zipporah.co.uk/Events.HAF.Live
