Broxbourne Borough Council has launched two new grant schemes.
The Ambition Broxbourne Grants for Business and the Broxbourne Community and Environment Grants are funded from the Section 106 agreement with Google for the Data Centre in Waltham Cross.
The Ambition Broxbourne Grants for Business programme supports the piloting of new innovative projects and practices from local businesses and social enterprises. Grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 are available.
The Council is seeking to support projects that are readily deliverable and are innovative, sustainable or digital-focused, such as rejuvenating community assets, improving shopfront signage, investment in new machinery or the use of sustainable energy and digital solutions.
Grant funding cannot be used to cover overheads such as rent or business rates payments.

The Community and Environment Grant enables the Council to support local voluntary sector organisations with funding to deliver projects that contribute to the Council's strategic priorities and benefit residents of the Borough.
Strategic priorities include the Sports Facilities Strategy, the Environmental Sustainability Strategy, the Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy and the Corporate Plan. Grants of between £2,000 and £15,000 are available to voluntary sector organisations based in the Borough or delivering services in the Borough.
The Council is seeking to support projects that are readily deliverable, sustainable and innovative. Grant funding cannot be used to cover overheads such as rent or business rates payments, or to duplicate existing funding streams.

The deadline for both grant schemes is 31 October 2026.
Limited funds are available and a grants panel will review applications and select the most appropriate bids.
