Residents of Goffs Oak are invited to provide their views on a new development brief for land at the corner of Newgatestreet Road and St James’ Road.
This site was released from the Green Belt on adoption of the new Local Plan for Broxbourne in June 2020.
The development brief is intended to provide a framework for assessing an expected planning application for the site in the near future. The four main objectives of the development brief are to:
- Create a new communal green as a focal point for the village
- Provide attractive, convenient, and safe access for all users
- Enhance the natural environment and rural character
- Create a high quality residential development to enhance the setting of the communal green
