Fraud (Non-benefit)

The Council is part of The Shared Anti-Fraud Service (SAFS) which is a partnership of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Councils.

SAFS is responsible for investigating all fraud matters that are not related to benefits, such as matters relating to:

  • Council Tax support
  • housing tenancy
  • homelessness
  • business rates
  • parking permits
  • Blue Badge
  • abuse of position
  • false invoices
  • insurance
