Report a missed green waste collection
The easiest way to report a missed green waste collection is by using the online 'report a missed bin' form.
The Council will return to collect the green waste bin within two working days of receiving the report. However, it cannot collect bins where:
- it contains contaminants (see 'What you can put in your bin')
- the lid is not closed
- the bin is too heavy to move or lift safely
- it contains wet, sticky or frozen material, or material jammed or wedged into the bin that will not fall from the bin when tipped and shaken on the collection vehicle
